Rural Development Organization Trust Doddaballapura is a non-profit organization, established in 1990, that works primarily in the domain of Gender, livelihood, Titles , Rejuvenation of water bodies, (Farm pond, recharge pit, check dams, cleaning of canals) Lake desilt ration, Sustainable Agriculture, Organic Farming, Food Security & Sovereignty, Child Rights & Early Childhood Education, Renovation & Refurbishment of Anganwadis/ Primary schools, Primary Health Centre’s, Nutrition Centre’s, Housing, Disaster Management (preparation/mitigation and resilience building), Resource Mobilization, Skill Training & Upgradation, Bio fuel promotion, Land & Water Management, Networking with likeminded organizations in 5 districts of Karnataka, implemented with resource partnership of donors, departments of the government , CSR, FCRA and local contributions. The NGO is presently headed by Mrs. K. Chitravathy, a professional Social Worker.

Mission

Strengthen the struggles of rural poor, oppressed, exploited people of under privileged backward communities for their empowerment and survival by developing alternative means of livelihood with full access to Education, Health, Water, Eco friendly Agriculture, Income Generating facilities, Gender Equity, availability of basic human rights and self-help initiative.
